GLOBAL SKILLS PROJECT 1: MAKING FRUIT SALAD

Project 1 of the Global Skills Projects subject has officially launched for Grade 1 students at SaiGon Sun Primary School with the theme: “Creating a Class Recipe Book.”
In this lesson, students transformed familiar ingredients such as watermelon, apples, grapes, and oats into dozens of unique salad creations, each reflecting their own personality and creativity.
This hands-on activity provided students with meaningful opportunities to develop key global competencies, including:
Creativity & Critical Thinking: Designing their own recipes, confidently experimenting, and exploring how different ingredients can be combined to create the most delicious dish.
Real-World Skills: Preparing food independently while observing and learning each step of the process.
Communication & Collaboration: Discussing ideas together, listening to classmates, and respecting different opinions during group work.
Let’s look forward to the “Grade 1 Class Salad Recipe Book” — a very first collection that captures our students’ colorful journey of learning, creativity, and discovery.
